Privacy policy

Last updated: 16 May 2026. This policy explains how Amanah Safety Consulting Ltd ("we", "us") handles personal data under the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.

1. Who we are

Amanah Safety Consulting Ltd is a private company limited by shares, registered in England & Wales under company number 12345678. Our registered office is at 1 Safety House, Holborn, London, EC1A 1AA.

We are the data controller for personal data described in this policy. You can contact us at hello@amanah-safety.co.uk.

2. Personal data we collect

  • Enquiry data: name, work email, company, country, sector and the contents of your message.
  • Contractual data: billing contacts, purchase orders, signed proposals and engagement documents.
  • Site analytics: with consent, anonymised usage data via privacy-friendly analytics.
  • Technical data: IP address, browser, device and approximate location, used only for security and abuse prevention.

3. Why we use it and on what basis

  • Respond to enquiries — legitimate interests (running a consultancy) and, where appropriate, steps prior to entering a contract.
  • Deliver services — performance of a contract with you or your employer.
  • Comply with legal duties — accounting, tax and regulatory obligations.
  • Improve the website — only with your consent (analytics cookies).

4. How long we keep it

  • Enquiry data not converted to a contract: up to 24 months.
  • Client records: 7 years after end of engagement (UK tax / professional indemnity).
  • Anonymised analytics: up to 26 months.

5. Who we share it with

We use trusted processors for hosting (Vercel), email delivery, and analytics (where consented). Each is bound by a Data Processing Agreement and provides appropriate security and (where applicable) appropriate transfer safeguards under the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or Addendum.

6. International transfers

Some of our processors are based outside the UK. We rely on UK adequacy decisions where they exist, otherwise on the UK Addendum to the EU Standard Contractual Clauses, with supplementary technical and organisational measures.

7. Your rights

You have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you.
  • Have inaccurate data corrected.
  • Have data erased where permitted by law.
  • Restrict or object to certain processing.
  • Receive data in a portable format.
  • Withdraw consent at any time, without affecting prior lawful processing.

To exercise any of these rights, email hello@amanah-safety.co.uk. You may also lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk), although we'd appreciate the chance to address concerns first.

8. Cookies

See our cookie policy for the categories we use and how to change your preferences.

9. Changes to this policy
